Rain and Suede

Indiana weather has gotten the best of me, thankfully though it has been more warmth than cold and that’s all a girl could ask for. Along with things getting the best of me, these past few months have been a whirlwind to say the least, so lets catch up.

Lately I have been really struggling with wanting to write on my site and not knowing what to say at the same time. My hardest battle has been with wanting to really stay true to myself and to you all while promoting the brands and things I love. I have had to really reiterate to myself that THIS IS MY WEBSITE. I don’t have to write anything I don’t want or say anything I don’t want to say, I don’t have to be someone I’m not. Being authentic and true to myself in this world full of “pretty aesthetics” and “instagram models” is so important to the person I am and hope to become. Yes I absolutely LOVE being apart of my brand programs and sharing fantastic companies with each and everyone of you but lets get one thing clear,

I WILL NEVER PROMOTE SOMETHING I HAVEN’T USED AND LOVED

So many are quick to sell their souls for a quick buck and a handful of followers, but what I am trying to accomplish is so much more than that. I have a passion and being able to write my thoughts down for the world is something I never imagined doing, especially receiving as much motivation for it as I do. So for all of you reading this, I thank you for understanding my weirdness, my on-going love for TJ-Maxx and for all of the love and support you have to give.

THESE BOOTS ARE TO DIE FOR

Super sleek and comfortable (surprising to say the least), perfectly paired with my destroyed charcoal denim for a quick run to my only class that day. Somehow Wednesdays have been my “pretty days” Does anyone else have those? Ya know how you basically look like you crawled out of the deepest pits of hell literally every other day of the week, but those one days you always look good and feel spectacular for some odd reason. Yeah, well Wednesdays are those days.

This semester I have been juggling 17 credit hours (while maintain almost straight A’s, yes stat is a pain in my you know what) with trying to focus on my fitness and nutrition.
